| Description | The purpose of the proposed CDM project activity is to reduce GHG emissions through the destruction of HFC 23 that is a by-product of HCFC22 production at the facility of Arkema (Changshu) Fluorochemical Co. Ltd. The process technology decomposes HFC 23 by heating at higher than 1,200c in a thermal oxidation chamber with air and steam, using natural gas (NG) as supplement fuel. | |
