Concerned Activities
1. Inspection of Security Countermeasures for Data and Storage Centers
It is crucial to make backups of important data in order to assure the continuity of operations. Backup data storage methods and outsourced storage areas require at least the same level of storage as the original data. On the assumption that widespread natural disaster might occur, distributed storage of data will necessarily require remote locations. JQA inspects the facilities and operations required of business establishments that engage primarily in data storage (storage centers), to meet JQA standards.
2. Inspection of Recycle Processing Center Security Countermeasures
Corporations and organizations generate immense volumes of paper waste compared to private individuals. This waste paper contains information, some of which may affect the continued existence of a corporation. JQA provides inspection to facilities that meet JQA standards in order to prevent the leakage of information from the paper waste generated by corporations and organizations, to assure the security of information contained in paper waste, and so to contribute to improved paper recycling rates.
