| Description | NISCO Converter Gas Recovery and Utilization for Power Generation Project
(referred to as the project hereinafter) will recover the converter gas
(LDG) produced by two 120-ton converters of Nanjing Iron and
Steel United Co., Ltd (NISCO) in steel production process for electricity
generation. The electricity generated by the project will be supplied to NISCO with an annually net supply of 138GWh, replacing the equivalent amount of electricity that otherwise would be purchased by NISCO from the East China Power Grid (ECG), which is dominated by coal-fired power plants. |
