台湾経済部標準検験局（Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection: BSMI）は、2026年10月5日、情報技術製品に対するサイバーセキュリティ試験の義務化という国際的な潮流に合わせ、また近年国内外でIoT製品がハッキングされるサイバーセキュリティ事案が増加していることを受け、ネットワーク接続型のセキュリティ機器、および情報・視聴覚関連のIoT製品を対象に、サイバーセキュリティ試験の要件を追加導入しました。この取り組みは、国内市場における重要なIoT製品のサイバーセキュリティ・レジリエンス（回復力・耐性）を強化し、製品のセキュリティを確保するとともに、消費者の権利を保護することを目的としています。
施行予定日：3項に該当する記録機能を備えない埋め込み式カメラ（covert camera）については2026年10月2日、その他のすべての製品については2028年7月1日。
