IEC Quality Assessment System for Electronic Components (IECQ) was established by the IEC in 1980 as a certification system for component quality. It is operated by the IECQ Management Committee (IECQ MC) under the IEC Conformity Assessment Board (CAB). Currently, 15 countries in Europe, North America, and Asia are members.
IECQ is short for the International Electrotechnical Commission Quality Assessment System for Electronic Components. It was established as a tool to verify the supply of electronic components and related materials, assemblies, and processes.
IEC Quality Assessment System for Electronic Components
Pursuant to IECQ standards based on ISO 9001 or ISO/IEC 17025, IECQ certification bodies (CB) certify the quality of electronic components, related assemblies, and materials; systems of the businesses that design, manufacture, and sell those components, and the testing laboratories that conduct quality testing related to component quality certification.
In addition to utilizing the IECQ Certificate, the logos below can be used as conformity marks on components and for brochures and business cards as a global passport for quality.

JQA conducts each type of IECQ certification as an IECQ certification body.
